Deckon on Campus / Kadir Has University

As part of the “Deckon on Campus” initiative, Deckon met with architecture students at Kadir Has University, creating a direct platform for exchange between industry practice and architectural education.

The session focused on the role of suspended ceiling systems in shaping spatial quality within contemporary architecture, with emphasis on acoustic performance, material selection, and system integration in complex building typologies such as cultural and educational spaces.

Through project-based examples, the discussion addressed how technical ceiling solutions are developed in response to architectural intent, environmental constraints, and functional requirements, highlighting the transition from design concept to built application.

This engagement reinforces Deckon’s commitment to supporting architectural education while contributing to a more technically informed and practice-oriented design culture.
